From Apple To LemonsNovember 12, 2008Apple founder Steve Jobs managed to rescue his company from ruin back in the 1990s when he returned as CEO and quickly reversed years of poor management bringing the company, IMHO, to its highest point in history today.
Blogger Roger Simon has an idea for Jobs’ next post: CEO of GM But one suggestion I have made before — make Steve Jobs CEO of General Motors. At least their cars will look better. My new MacBook Pro, on which I am typing this post, is a much slicker piece of design than anything GM has put out in years. [Wouldn't you rather drive a MacBuick?-ed. Somehow I knew you'd say that.] Posted by Doug Olenick on November 12, 2008 | Comments (2)

In response to: From Apple To Lemons Rob Robinson commented: NAY I say! Apple devotees will strongly resist giving up Steve Jobs (and his apparently neverending stream of fabulous new gadgets) just to bail out GM, particularly since almost none of us drive (or desire to) ANY vehicle they've produced in the last several decades!

In response to: From Apple To Lemons JH commented: If Steve Jobs ran GM, GM car prices would at least double. The R&D money would go into design and appearance, not quality, performance, or safety. All cars would be silver or white. Mileage (MPG) would get much worse (see the Greenpeace reports about Apple).
